Let’s start with what our photography is not. It’s not feather boas or clip on ties and we’re not your aunt who suddenly decided to become a photographer last week. We don’t have you choose from a list of poses or hold you to a certain number of outfits.
Our photography is fun and adventurous. It’s open fields showered in golden sunlight. It’s the farm you grew up on, or the city that reflects who you are. It’s sports photos shot like they’re going in Sports Illustrated and cars lit up for a Car and Driver shoot.
In a word, our photography is YOU.
Soft and Dreamy, or Lit for a Magazine
Melody and David have different ways of shooting. Melody
leans towards soft, airy light.
Whereas David focusses on bringing studio lighting to
outdoors locations to create scenes often found in the pages of big budget
magazines.
SESSIONS
Two Hour Sundown: $250
Our most popular session is the two hour sundown session at
$250. It comes with Melody’s dreamy, natural light, and David’s magazine styled
off camera lighting. We trade off assisting one another and flow quickly from
one pose to the next because as one of us is shooting, the other is looking for
the next setup. We fit in as many outfits and locations as we can during your
time. Not only do you get two photographers shooting you on location for two
hours for the price of one photographer sitting in a studio, you also get a proof
book with all the shots from your session, usually between 90 and 100.

Photographers time, creativity, color correction and professional processing of images.
Proof album of all of the shots from your session. (A $120 value).
Two hours of shooting.
As many outfit changes as you can work in (generally about 4 to 5).

One Hour, Two Photographers: $150
For the more straight forward senior we have a one hour
session for $150. Again, you get both Melody and David on location. We can
usually squeeze in two to three outfit changes during this time and deliver
45-50 photos in your gallery to choose from. No proof book is offered with this
session. When available, these sessions are also scheduled as close to sundown as possible.

Daytime Shoots with David: $100
Our newest session option is the one hour shoot with David
for $100. These shoots are scheduled during normal business hours. For these
shoots David will switch back and forth between natural light and off camera
lighting to get you a well rounded look. You can expect to see about 30 proofs
from this session.

Print Information*
All images ordered as prints are retouched to remove blemishes. Additional retouching is done on images according to the size ordered. For example, while wallets and 4x6s receive only blemish retouching, 5x7 prints also benefit from under-eye retouching and fly-away removal. 8x10s include all of the previous edits plus light alteration to make clothing fit better. Even more adjustments are made to larger prints. When ordering packages, all prints in the package benefit from the editing done on the largest print size ordered. For example, if you order Package A, all edits will have the retouching done for an 8x10 – even the wallets!

When placing a print order with us, please keep in mind that every image is then carefully retouched and ordered from one of the most respected print houses in the industry. Once we receive the prints, David inspects each individually, and prepares them for delivery by matting prints 5x7 and larger. Because we care about the quality of your portrait and much time goes into the process, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery of prints from the time of placing your order.
New this year is the ability for clients to place orders in person at our showroom where we can help guide you through the best print sizes for your home and show you examples of different finishes.
